Children Art Classes - Pottery & Painting
November 21 - (Pottery: 10 am- Noon) (Painting: 1:30-3:30 pm)
Just in time for the upcoming holidays! These two introductory level workshops for kids (ages 5-14) will be led by local artist Sandy Webb from Brandon.
Workshop 1 - PINCHED POTTERY Kids will experience a great way to create pottery that has a nice, organic look to it. Kids will enjoy the interactive nature of this class that will have them create a couple of their own special pieces for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Workshop 2 - PAINT IT YOUR WAY Pick a small wood cross and a small canvas (8 x 10) to paint it your way. While painting they will learn some valuable insights and techniques that will unleash their creativity. Kids will enjoy the interactive nature of this class where they create their own special pieces.
Cost: $19 per class per person, supplies included. (Discount: $5 per child if they attend both classes.) Seating is limited. Moms are welcomed to assist younger students.
